Cool Stuff: Noodle Lampshades

I saw these amazing lampshades (via the Nestmaker) today and went absolutely nuts for them. (Can you tell that I'm a little, um ... lighting fixated?)

Hand-made to order by Noodle in the U.K., each shade is created by lamin-ating digitally printed fabric (yes, those patterns are actual photographs) onto PVC parchment, then hand-rolling the edges.

Just choose one of Noodle's 84 luscious photo patterns, decide on a shade size (from 6x14-inch cylinders to 20x9-inch drums; the company will do custom sizes, too), and specify whether the shade is for a regular lamp or a pendant light. In four to six weeks, the finished shade will arrive at your door. Prices range from 50 to 176 pounds sterling (double that, roughly, to figure the amount in dollars).

And while you're visiting the site, don't miss Noodle's canvas wall hangings, pillows, and sample sale items.

That yellow one is just the most wonderful lemon color. Love it.
