My Google Ads Have Gone Rogue

Hey all -- I just want to apologize for the putrid "YES on 8" messages that showed up in my Google Ads boxes this morning. I don't control the advertisements that pop up there (although they're supposed to key off what I'm featuring on the blog, so at least they'll be somewhat relevant), and "Yes on 8" absolutely does NOT reflect my own opinion.

The ads are gone now. (And if you're in California, I hope you'll vote AGAINST legalized discrimination at the polls tomorrow.)

For those of you who are of the Obama/Biden persuasion (and I do realize and respect the fact that by no means all of you are), Design/ers for Obama has made available for free downloading dozens of great, graphic campaign posters (like Obama, above).

Simply choose the poster you want, decide if you'd prefer it as one 8.5-by-11-inch image on a single sheet of paper, a 17-by-22-inch image on four sheets, or a 26-by-33-inch image on nine sheets, then click "print."

eBay Find of the Day: Obamaware Auction

Hudson Valley, New York ceramic artist Ayumi Horie has organized 27 talented claymasters to create Obamaware, a collection of 140 handmade pieces commemorating the 2008 Democratic presidential candidate.

The fundraiser will go live on eBay at 8 a.m. Pacific time today (Monday, October 20). Fifty percent of the auction proceeds will be donated to the Barack Obama/Joseph Biden campaign, and the winning bidders will own one-of-a-kind and highly collectible mementos from this historic election.
