Whoo-o-o could resist?

Current bid: $25.

eBay Find of the Day: Lotus Lamp

Check out this ultra-glam vintage brass lotus pendant that's listed on eBay right now.

Now check out the strikingly similar light fixture, above, in Hollywood designer Darren Ransdell's home, which was featured in a recent issue of InStyle Home.

Ransdell's Sixties-era light is a Tommi Parzinger original -- which likely means that he paid a small fortune for it. (Even knockoffs and reproductions of these classic lotus lights, like the one below from SparkleDivine, sell for several hundred bucks.)

I don't know if the fixture listed on eBay is a Parzinger, too -- the seller doesn't mention a maker or manufacturer. But if it was (and I'm not saying it is), wouldn't that be super-cool? I think so.

Current bid: $10.

eBay Find of the Day: C. Jere Wall Sculpture

Did you see that Jonathan Adler has reissued a few of the super-funky midcentury metal wall sculptures by C. Jere?

The reissued Raindrops Sculpture, above, is made from antiqued brass and measures a whopping 66 inches wide by 34 inches high. The price? $1,500.

There's a similar aluminum Raindrops Sculpture, above, on Wright Now right now for $2,600 -- and a chrome version, below, on 1stdibs for $4,800. Clearly, Curtis Jere is hot -- and highly collectible. (Now might be a good time to raid your parents' attic or basement for remnants of their own super-fab '70s decor. You may actually find something really valuable!)

The original Raindrops Sculpture pictured at top and at right, which is up for auction on eBay, is smaller -- 36 inches wide by 27 inches tall -- and is signed by the artist. Current bid: $255.

eBay Find of the Day: Sunburst Clock

I'm totally digging the grooviness of vintage sunburst clocks and mirrors right now. I love the combination of teak and brass rays on this one, the fact that it takes an AA battery instead of having an ugly dangling cord like a lot of similar midcentury models, and especially the fact that it's an impressive 27 inches in diameter.

Current bid: $22. (Hurry -- the auction ends Monday afternoon.)
