Here's the link to that: http://www.powells.com/info/places/cookbookmap.html

Don't be sad if you miss it, though -- Powell's in any form totally rocks.

Have fun!kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07832228313612518377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1549907091994594204.post-36989377447616079912007-11-05T14:02:00.000-08:002007-11-05T14:02:00.000-08:00As a transplant to Portland two years ago, I've th...As a transplant to Portland two years ago, I've thoroughly enjoyed the eclectic green city. I would highly recommend stopping by the Portland Saturday Market; it's just a few blocks from Voodoo Doughnut and is open on Saturday and Sunday.

Powells and Rejuvenation are fun favorites no matter the time of year. If the weather is nice, and you have transportation, Multnomah Falls is a must see. Just east of the city, about 25 minutes, the falls are right off of the interstate. You can enjoy exquisite views of the waterfalls as well as great food (and views) from the historic lodge (http://www.multnomahfallslodge.com/).
Hope that you have a wonderful weekend!Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09936203671136031167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1549907091994594204.post-65791925730360555332007-11-05T13:51:00.000-08:002007-11-05T13:51:00.000-08:00The last time I was in Portland, my brother took u...The last time I was in Portland, my brother took us to this little place down in the Hawthorne district named the Cup & Saucer Cafe. They had wonderful omelets and great vegetarian selection.

Apparently, just around the corner from the Cup & Saucer Cafe in an alley is the "Waffle Window". There is a lady who serves waffles out an alley window. My brother said he would take us there next time we were in town.jessilonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03840412457583298627noreply@blogger.com
